Once someone decides to become a public figure then everything he/she owns or does becomes a public knowledge. There is lot of hue and cry from every corner about what ECP is trying to do. It may not be all perfect but it is an excellent start and everyone should credit ECP for their effort – especially those clueless who show up at TV channels at night and bad mouth ECP. Rather than criticizing ECP, if someone has a better idea to do things then say it.

All these numbers point to greed that these politicians have to loot people of Pakistan. How can their kids, who don’t have any education or business, can amass so much wealth in such a short time. Let all the data that ECP is throwing out in public be on ECP’s website showing each person’s name. And let IT departments of universities help ECP how to show this information in a concise and quick way to public so that they can see beyond these politicians’ rhetoric.Recommend

Property values declared, legally, i might add, are based on LEASE amounts, in official documents, rather than the market value of these properties. Just this lacuna, in itself, reduces the value of assets by many magnititudes.Recommend

    PPPP: Rs435,000

What? Reading the details about the individuals above this doesn’t make any sense. Is that average assets per person or the sum total of all? Neither would make sense because of the low amount.

Someone mentioned source of income. Awesome question. How are all of these doing huge jalsaas including PTI? I hope details are availbel to CBR as well. Any property discovered after this from all of these politicians must be considered illegal and property of the state. All this details must be sent to CBR for tax evaluation and collection. The property must be valued by CBR and open to public.

The list of assets gives the impression these politicians have spend more money and efforts in camouflaging their assets because the current details of their worldly goods..
I hope the new nomination form has the right questions to draw out a clearer picture of the assets these politicians possess.
