Four months after expiration of his contract, Khursheed Anwar Bhinder has been dismissed from the post of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director General (DG) Punjab and is temporarily replaced by Squadron leader (retd) Irshad-ul-Haq.
Chairman NAB Admiral (retd) Fasih Bukhari in a written notification on Tuesday discharged Bhinder from his services. Bhinder, who despite expiration of his contract in October last year, was not only working as DG Punjab but was also given the additional charge of DG NAB Rawalpindi chapter later in December.
Prime minister’s secretariat notification issued on October 12 with the stamp and signature of the Principal Secretary to the prime minister Muhammad Ayub Qazi, available with The Express Tribune reads “ The Prime Minister has been pleased to accord ex-post-facto approval to the appointment of Mr Khursheed Anwar Bhinder as Director General (BS-21) in NAB on contract basis .
