
Addressing the business community at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Monday, he said that there were vast prospects of mutual cooperation between the two countries to further strengthen the trade relations.
He also discussed a range of subjects related to the bilateral relationship between Germany and Pakistan, including the cultural, political and economic dimensions.
“Germany considers trade the best form of cooperation between countries”, the ambassador said.
He observed that within the European Union, Germany was the largest trading partner of Pakistan and said that Germany had an interest in seeing the EU engage with Pakistan.
Nunn said that Pakistan and Germany enjoyed a balanced volume of trade that stood around $2.2billion.
