Outbreak: One dies of black jaundice

Locals alleged that the health authorities failed to take preventive measures to curb the spread of the disease.

HAZRO: At least one person has died of black jaundice (Leptospirosis) soon after the outbreak in Hazro and surrounding areas.

Sources said that Nusrat Shah, an employee of district council and resident of Khagwani, fell victim to the contagious disease on Monday.

On the other hand, locals alleged that the health authorities failed to take preventive measures to curb the spread of the disease.
