According to police, Sanaullah Baranzai was on the road when armed men killed him in Kand area of Khuzdar.
Police rushed to the site after the incident and moved the dead body to the local hospital.
Motive behind the murder has yet to be ascertained. Sources say Baranzai was an active worker of BNP-M and a confidant of party chief Sardar Akthar Mengal.
