I lived in CapeTown for a few years, with my family. I must say that it is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to. We were living in a safe and well guarded neighbourhood in the city center, far from the dangerous and notorious outskirts of Cape Town. But, to be honest, I must say that we never felt safe there!
Namaloom afraad, now in Capetown!
Without any doubt, South Africa is a very beautiful country but possesses the most violent people. The whites, blacks, coloreds (also known as the 'Cape colored' and 'mulattoes') and Asians make up the population. Why on earth did Pakistanis go legally or illegally to RSA? For employment and humiliation? Yes. That is the only thing that comes to mind. Salams
feel bad for their families.
May their soul rest in peace.
Were pakistanis involved in the robbery or were they getting robbed?
Ohh so sad to hear this.. I am actually planning to visit South Africa for vacation, I have to think again
Capetown is to robbery as Delhi is to rape. Stay safe.
@sayed sahib nobody cares here the police and government officials only work as statisticians they only tell the number of people killed be it in pakisan or outside pakistan,
Question to our foreign Ministry and they need to ask their counterpart or at-least have the knowledge about it. What is the crime rate in cape town and, does this type of incident normal there or this is an out of the box incident? If this is an out of the box incident, how come 5 Pakisani's were shot at and killed?
As a Pakistani - I have the right to know what exactly has happened.
Why in the world would anyone wish to live and work in South Africa which is known to be much more violent and crime ridden than Pakistan? Everyone there has guns to protect themselves. Pakistanis may talk and exagerate about voilence but in South Africa it's real. Anyone watching the Oscar Pistorius case where he shot dead his girlfriend at home thinking she was a burgler. Apparently routinely people shoot memebers at home mistakenly because there are so many robberies there!
Very sad news..........Allha bless us........
