The sessions judge reported to the LHC that Samina Bibi had been shot by her husband Nawaz as she left the district court, where she had been produced before a judicial magistrate from a shelter home, under police escort.
She was rushed to the hospital but died on the way. A case has been registered, Nawaz has been arrested and is on physical remand.
