KARACHI: The office of the Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research (Piler) in Gulshan-e-Maymar came under attack on Monday afternoon by a former employee.

Nearly two dozen men entered the office and beat up a staff member. Piler’s executive director Karamat Ali told The Express Tribune that there was a dispute between a former employee, Faisal Saeed, and a present one, Danish Siddiqui.

Saeed and some men forcibly entered the office and took Siddiqui out of the office before beating him up. They also misbehaved with the field staff who tried to rescue Siddiqui.
