Keeping to its tradition, Roots International School’s (RIS) Palm Tree Campus held “Annual Parents Day” on Saturday, in which a series of exhilarating artistic performances under the theme “Enchanted World” were on display, according to a press release issued by RIS.

Rootsians galvanised the audience with energising displays that spanned various satirical performances and nursery rhymes, culminating in walk through the golden ages.

Chief guest Muhammad Ishaq Butt, Chairman of Sialkot Dry Port Trust, gave a special mention to CEO RIS Walid Mushtaq for his relentless efforts in striving to take RIS up the educational ladder.

Mushtaq commended the efforts of students and RIS staff, explaining that such events provided the former a platform to expand their creative abilities and “think outside the box.”

He urged teachers to continue to focus on developing the students’ artistic talents.

At the end of the affair, a Montessori graduation ceremony was held, with students awarded their customary shields and certificates.
