Eight children returned home after getting free-of-cost treatment for burns and congenital abnormalities in the United States.
The children were treated under a joint programme of the Shalamar Hospital and House of Charity, an NGO based in Houston, USA.
A spokesman for the hospital said that 54 children had so far had extensive surgeries in the US and could now spend their lives normally.
Four children will be sent to America soon, he said.
