Explosion: House damaged

JAMRUD: A house was destroyed when a bomb planted near its boundary wall detonated in Jamal Khel, Jamrud tehsil. Haji Khandad Afridi, a khasadar official, said a loud explosion occurred outside Arsala Khan’s house early Friday morning. He added khasdar officials rushed to the site after the explosion and surrounded the area. The bomb, which was allegedly planted by unidentified militants, destroyed main gate and boundary wall of the house. The official said a search operation was launched in the area but no arrests were made till the filing of this report. Khan maintained he had no enemies and had not received any threats from militant groups.
