Forecast: Cold and dry weather predicted

PESHAWAR: The Met Office here Friday predicted light rain at isolated places of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) and dry weather for Khyber-Pakthunkhwa (K-P) during next 24 hours. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country with strong prediction of dry forecast. However, light rain and thunderstorm may occur at isolated places of AJK, G-B and adjoining hilly areas during next 24 hours. Meanwhile, the weather of Peshawar, Parachainar and Abbottabad will remain partly cloudy and dry. However, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in last 48 hours. Scattered rain and thunderstorm occurred in upper Punjab, upper K-P, AJK and G-B while isolated hailstorm was reported in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Lahore divisions in last 24 hours.
