Squash: Amna stuns 2nd-seed Zahab to enter semis

Amir Atlas to meet brother Danish in last-four.

KARACHI: Amna Latif sprung the biggest surprise on the second day of the first DHA Karachi International Squash Championship main round as she defeated second-seed Zahab Kamal 3-1 in their quarter-final.

Amna was a set down initially but went on to win with scores of 9-11, 11-4, 11-6 and 11-4 to set up a semi-final with Rushna Mehboob, who received a walkover against Ayesha Zafar as her opponent failed to report on time.

Meanwhile, Amir Atlas Khan will face his younger brother Danish Atlas in the semi-finals while Farhan Zaman and Nasir Iqbal will take on each other in the last-four.
