CHARSADDA: Christians held a protest on Tuesday against the March 9 Badami Bagh incident. Protesters gathered at the St. Peter’s Church and marched towards Farooq-e-Azam chowk while chanting slogans against the mob which burned down over 100 houses of Christian families in Lahore on Saturday. Father J P Samuel while addressing the demonstrators said the Pakistan government had failed to provide protection to minorities. “All Christians are loyal to this country and have rendered many sacrifices for its survival. However, we are still being targeted” Samuel said. He demanded the government to ensure their security. Members of different political parties along with social activities also spoke on the occasion, condemning the incident.
