Kazmi, Rao Shakeel and former additional secretary to ministry of religious affairs Raja Aftabul Islam were accused of indulging in widespread corruption during the course of renting residential buildings for Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia at exorbitant rates and inflicting a loss of a billion rupees to the national exchequer. Most of the buildings rented by the Hajj administrators were five kilometres away from the Haram Sharif, while according to law the accommodation for Hajjis should not be more than two kilometres away.
A case was registered against Kazmi and he was arrested on March 15, 2011. A Rawalpindi court had granted him bail on August 27, which was later cancelled on Federal Investigation Agency’s request.

Why our politicians spend millions on election campaigns, simply its an investment to make money through corruption. I feel sorry for this man who had to face losses in this business.
Look at his face. He looks so innocent, has a nice shara'i beard ... and it is even dyed red with Henna. He is following sunnah Masha'ALLAH to the dot!! The FIA must by crazy. How can they register a case against this pious man? I am pretty sure he prays five times every day and most of them in congregation too. Something does not add up here.
The longer the beard the less the fear
And what about Arsalan Iftikhar's accounts ?
This is "Democracy is the best revenge " at work!
Everybody has equal rights in a democratic country. Why is an ex-minister being singled out for corruption? Does he not have the right to some money on the side? Oh the humanity!
What is happening in this country? No one fears form Allah
is there still any money left in this more than innocent person's account?
