Suicide bomb attack kills 2 police officials in Bannu

The attack also left 18 injured.

BANNU: A suicide bomber blew himself up outside the Saddar Police Station in Bannu, leaving at least two officials dead and 18 others injured, Express News reported on Tuesday.

According to initial details, the bomber blew himself up with the help of a mobile phone.

Security forces cordoned off the area soon after the explosion.

As per the police, the suicide bomber targeted a police van, destroying it completely.

Emergency was declared in the district hospitals following the incident.

A "full-fledged operation" should/must be launched by the Pakistan military against these animals countrywide, before it's too late.
