Principals and headmasters in Frontier Region (FR) Bannu and Lakki Marwat have decided they will not cooperate with the examination staff of the Bannu Board in protest over not being given invigilation duties.
Teacher of state-run schools in these areas met on Monday where Schools Officers Association President Muqrab Khan said they will boycott the board examinations and would sack the staff appointed by the board.
He added they will not accept any appointment from the board now, nor will they help out the members selected by the board. The protesters also decided they would not allow the invigilators in their examination halls.
