Jumping ship: ANP, PPP parliamentarians to join JUI-F

Sajjadullah Khan is the second ANP lawmaker to join JUI-F this month.

PESHAWAR: Two incumbent lawmakers from Kohistan district will join the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) on Saturday (today). Pakistan Peoples Party MNA Mehboobullah Jan of NA-23, Kohistan and Awami National Party (ANP) MPA Sajjadullah Khan of PK-61, Kohistan-I will join the JUI-F in the presence party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, JUI-F spokeperson Haji Jalil Jan told The Express Tribune. A former senator and MNA from Frontier Region Peshawar, Malik Noor Sher Afridi will also be joining the JUI-F on the same day. The JUI-F has recently swelled its ranks with new entrants and several incumbent lawmakers joining it over the past few months. Sajjadullah Khan is the second ANP lawmaker to join JUI-F this month.
