FAISALABAD: Four public transport vehicles were burnt on Thursday when fire erupted at a CNG station in Chak Jhumra. Rescue 1122 officials said staffers of Jhumra CNG station were refilling a pickup when its gas cylinder exploded. They said the fire, caused by the explosion, engulfed the pick up as well as two other passenger wagons and a mini loader that were queued up. All four vehicles were reduced to ashes, they said. No loss of life was reported. Naseer Ahmad, a witness, said the drivers and their helpers fled just in time. “The pickup had 17 gas cylinders,” he said.
