LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial on Thursday took notice of eight incidents of crime reported in print media and sought reports from the district and sessions’ judges concerned within one week. In an application addressed to the chief justice, it was submitted that two sisters Rimsha, 7, and Humera, 8, were kidnapped 15 months ago and that a complaint was registered with Shujabad police, Multan. Since the police could not come up with any clues pertaining to the missing girls, Multan district and session’s judge has been directed by the CJ to submit a detailed report. The CJ has also taken notice of four rape cases in Pakpattan, Muridke and Gujranwala districts. Detailed report on a case of sexual harassment of children in Lahore, murder of a eunuch in Okara, and kidnapping of a woman in Gujranwala were also sought.
