A woman and her three children were severely injured in a gas explosion at Tordhand village

KARAK: A woman and her three children were severely injured in a gas explosion at Tordhand village of Karak district on Tuesday. Khwaza Jan said his daughter-in-law and her children, two-year-old Sofia, eight-year-old Ambreen and 13-year-old Waseemullah, were the victims of the explosion. He said a gas pipeline was leaking, accumulating the gas in the room they were sleeping in. Jan said when his daughter-in-law woke up around 3am to light the gas-lamp, an explosion occurred injuring them. Neighbours rushed to the house after hearing the explosion and shifted the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital. They were referred to Karyn Burns Centre due to the critical condition while the room of the house was destroyed.
