Jamhoori Wattan Party (JWP) President Nawabzada Talal Akbar Bugti has announced that he would visit Dera Bugti at any cost.
“It would strengthen democracy and bring peace if security forces withdraw from Dera Bugti and Sui,” he told a press conference at his residence on Sunday.
Talal Bugti said that they had appealed to the Supreme Court to end the ‘no-go areas’ in Dera Bugti, and allow displaced Bugti tribesmen to resettle in Dera Bugti.
“The apex court ordered Balochistan’s chief secretary and other concerned authorities to end no-go areas and pave the way for Bugti tribesmen to resettle in Dera Bugti, who are living as refugees in different parts of the country,” he added.
Bugti also said that 44,000 Bugti refugees were facing a lot of hardships and difficulties. “The government should take steps for the rehabilitation of the displaced Bugti families,” he demanded.
He said elections were approaching, thus, withdrawal of security forces and rehabilitation of displaced people in Dera Bugti was inevitable. “I have requested leaders in Punjab to play their role in this connection,” he added.
Talal was of the view that for a prosperous Balochistan, empowerment of Baloch people on their own resources was vital. “The government must initiate dialogue with disgruntled Baloch leaders sitting abroad and bring them to the negotiating table,” he said.

@Hammad:
Exacly my thouht. I dont understand why these Nawab's think they own Balochistan. There are almost 35 more tribes lives there. Who gave the the authority to make decision of whole of Balochistan. They are not even elected representatives of the people.
“I have requested leaders in Punjab to play their role in this connection,” he added.
No Words...
Talaal is right. How long can you not allow people to go to their homes. If they are feudal it is still their home and they must be allowed to go back....however it is the job of the administration to make sure they not armed and must be held accountable for any mischief, Talaal is a patriotic Pakistani and we should pay attention to what he says. He is right on every count. We have to talk to Baluchs and address their concerns if peace is to be achieved in Baluchistan.
@islooboy: Too much of media and concern of Judiciary for the Human Rights of terrorists has messed every thing.
the hazaras want army in and balochs want fc out who to listen to
Yes hand over the province to Feudal Tribal Warlords so they can make a state within a state.
What Mr Talal Bugti means is that Government should cease control of Dera Bugti and hand it over to War Lords. Surprisingly there are a large chunk of beneficiaries of vested interest that support such unconstitutional acts and promotion of non state elements. This disease is found both in Religious and Nationalist Parties.
So that they can bring in more truck loads of ....... I hope you all know what!
