LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) leader, Pir Pagara has remarked that the upcoming national elections will be intense and bloody, Express News reported on Friday.

Pagara made these frank remarks, while addressing a media conference in Lahore.

“What the election will merely do is bring few new faces in power,” he added.

Pagara further added that elections only were not the solution to Pakistan's existing crises and problems, for which national strategies have to be formulated.

His current remarks come in the aftermath of the alliances that his party formed with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), headed by former Prime Minister Mian Mohammed Nawaz Sharif and the smaller nationalist parties in interior Sindh as a means to present a strong platform to voters in the province.

Bloodshed for a peacefull and prosperous Pakistan is smething like a line drawn on stone.Ground realities speak for itself.Coming election is very very crucial because independant ECP will reduce the chances of geting desired results for deep state which may results in un controled clashes from rightists mostly from PTI walas.
