Pharma and healthcare: Sanofi’s regional head visits Pakistan
Ortoli held meetings with the management of Sanofi Pakistan and reviewed Sanofi’s local manufacturing strategy.

Sanofi’s Intercontinental Global Operations Senior Vice President Antoine Ortoli visited Pakistan for a two-day visit from February 14-15. He held meetings with the management of Sanofi Pakistan and reviewed Sanofi’s local manufacturing strategy. Ortoli discussed Sanofi’s presence in Pakistan, the existing potential of the production capacity and increasing access to medicines for the local population. “With the government having taken a very positive step in forming the Drug Regulatory Authority, now the need is for the regulatory body to operate at a fast pace to spur the growth of the industry,” he said.
