MNA Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry of the PML-N is trying to reach a settlement with the family of van driver Shaukat Ali, who was killed in a road accident involving the MNA’s jeep.
IO Maqsood Ahmad said the deceased’s family has not lodged a complaint yet. The MNA said it was a complete accident, but he is ready to compensate the family.
“There was a complete black out and all traffic signals on the intersection were off,” he said.
He also showed willingness to bear the medical expenses of all those injured in the accident.
