ISLAMABAD: Head of Balochistan National Party (BNP) and former Senator Dr Abdul Hayee Baloch said on Monday that, with general elections just round the corner, the Baloch should unite to ensure effective representation in Parliament.

Speaking at a public gathering, the BNP chief said that one of the reasons behind terrorism in the province is lack of unity among the Baloch.

“Balochistan has a 770 km long coast and is blessed with natural resources. But there is a need to use them properly for the welfare of the province and its people,” he added.

He suggested that the Baloch should be given job opportunities to eliminate all forms of criminal and terrorist activities from the province.
