Out of school: 9th convocation of Greenwich University

Around 276 students, including 147 undergraduates, were awarded degrees at the convocation held at DHA Golf Club.

KARACHI: Around 276 students, including 147 undergraduates, were awarded degrees in a number of disciplines, including business administration, mass communication and media studies, at the ninth convocation of Greenwich University held at DHA Golf Club on Sunday.

Twelve of the high achievers were awarded gold medals along with certain benefits, monetary and nonmonetary, by representatives of a number of eminent organisations, including the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Aqeel Karim Dhedhi Group and Din Group of Industries.

While speaking at the convocation, Seema Mughal, the university’s vice-chancellor, commended the institute for its commitment to research and higher education.
