Target missed: Three rockets fired at Thal Bazaar

HANGU: Unidentified militants fired three rockets which landed in Hangu’s Thal Bazaar, on Sunday. Shah Baraz Khan, an official of the Thal police, said around 2:00pm three rockets were fired from the Khadima mountains. The rockets landed near residential areas in the bazaar, but no loss of human life was reported. Security forces shelled the area from which the rockets originated, he said, adding that in the early hours of Sunday police launched a search operation in Thal Bazaar, Bazo Kot, Mamo Khwar and other areas of the tehsil. A total of 60 suspects, including drug traffickers, were arrested and an investigation is underway.
