Balochistan Unrest: Two killed, including Levies man

In Basima, armed men barged into a house and opened indiscriminate fire, killing Levies soldier on the spot.

QUETTA: Two people, including a Levies operative, were killed in two separate incidents in Basima tehsil of Washuk district and Naseerabad on Friday. 

In Basima, armed men barged into a house and opened indiscriminate fire, killing the owner Abdul Ghani on the spot.

Ghani was identified as a Levies soldier by the security force.

The assailants also abducted his brother identified as Pir Muhammad.

The motive behind the incident could not be ascertained.

Meanwhile, a person was killed in the Manjushura area of Naseerabad.

Police sources identified the man as Nazir Khan who was on his way to Goth Rahim Bakhsh Buledi when armed men opened fire on him.
