All-parties conference: QWP assures JUI-F of participation

Sherpao appreciated JUI-F’s efforts and added that collective action could resolve all sorts of disputes.

Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Chairman Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao on Friday assured a Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) delegation of his participation in the all-parties conference (APC) set to take place on February 28.


The JUI-F delegation was led by Senator Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, who invited Sherpao to take part in the APC which will deliberate over measures to tackle militancy and restore peace in the region.

Sherpao appreciated JUI-F’s efforts and added that collective action could resolve all sorts of disputes. He assured the JUI-F leaders of his party’s participation in the conference and said QWP is committed to addressing the sense of deprivation, insecurity and uncertainty prevalent among the people.

Talking to the visiting delegation, Sherpao said he regrets the government’s lack of interest in peace initiatives. “The declaration of the recently held APC was disappointing, which shows the government’s lack of sincerity,” he said about the conference convened by the Awami National Party.

Calling APC when there are only 2 weeks left in government is open joke with public. These status-quo parties want to suck the blood of public
