World Scout Day: Scouts reaffirm duty to serve society
A ceremony was held to observe the 155th anniversary of scout movement in Mingora.

Local scouts performed various activities highlighting peace and harmony in society.
The Swat Scouts Open Group (SSOG) leader Akhtar Ali, said, “on this day, we honor the founder of scouting, Lord Baden-Powel who pioneered the movement for peace and enlightened people to promote brotherhood.”
The scouts reaffirmed commitment to serve humanity. “We must renew our promise to serve the society in social work and strive for peace and contribute in the development of the country,” SSOG Provincial Secretary Fazal Ali, said.
