Murder: Man slits wife’s throat

Accused also hit his seven-year-old daughter Ambar who is said to be in critical condition at a hospital says police.

FAISALABAD: A woman was killed in Madina Town on Thursday allegedly by her husband. Madina Town SP Tahir Masood said Aamir Masih, a resident of of Maryamabad, used to abuse and beat his wife Sumaira. He said on Wednesday, the couple had an exchange of words after which Aamir slit Sumaira’s throat. He also hit his seven-year-old daughter Ambar who is said to be in critical condition at a hospital. Zulfiqar, the father of the deceased, reported the murder to the police, the SP added.
