The decision was taken during an ECP meeting headed by Chief Election Commission Fakhruddin G Ibrahim.
The SBP governor, FBR chairman, NAB chairman and Nadra officials also attended the meeting.
In an earlier meeting on February 19, the commission had approved stringent scrutiny procedures aimed at screening out all prospective candidates involved in corrupt practices.
Under the new rules, candidates will have to disclose their source of income, along with providing details of their tax returns and international travels over the last three years.

It seems Pakistanis are going in the right direction in this situation , something has to be done to curtail these unsavory people to go to NA and PAs to fleece the public and perpetuate their hold on political power.What about their wives, some of them has transferred their ill gotten money to their relatives.If I recall correctly, former PM Jilani's wife got loans worth millions and then either defaulted or were written off. Again it is the people who has to be educated to choose the right candidates but in Pakistan it is the dynasty which is at works for decade.I wish the people wake up and see the true faces of these people who want to represent them or take them for a ride.

Fakhru bhai has only one vote among fives means only 20% share of power against those 80% other (four) provincial ECs which have been appointed in accordance with the will of major political parties of each respective province, not fully enacting with the process of its composition given in Constitution of Pakistan, and they will definitely work for their godfathers.

Scan the form and your CNIC and send to your relative in pakistan. They can go to ECP office to change your electoral area.
