The 20-year-old Belgian stopper has been linked with a number of rival European clubs due to his impressive performance on his second season-long spell at the Vicente Calderon Stadium.

“I do not think that Chelsea want to sell me from what I hear,” said Courtois. “Maybe it is true, maybe it is not, I don’t know. I did not expect to reach this level of performance.”
