The decision was announced by MYC, a consortium of politico-religious parties and groups, after the meeting of its Khutbaat-e-Juma Commission (KJC).
The meeting was attended by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Jamaatud Dawa (JuD), Jamiat-e-Ulema-Pakistan (JUP), Shia Ulema Council and Jamaat Ahle Hadees.
The KJC decided to pay a nationwide tribute to Guru and the struggle for independence by Indian Kashmir next week on Friday.

If he is innocent, then why is he asking for mercy? If there are real proof against him then justice should prevail
I think every one responsible of mistrial must be brought to justice. Where CJ in this case. The wrong person has spent 22 years in the jail and no one has the guts to do the corrective action. I think the Indian Government should take the case to International Court of Justice because Pak Judiciary is a rubber stamp
