ISLAMABAD: After Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Jamat Islami (JI), the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) too has expressed reservations to become part of the Awami National Party (ANP) organised All Parties Conference (APC), expected to be held today (Thursday).

The spokesperson for PTI Shafqat Mehmood expressed doubts over the intentions of ANP saying that if the party was sincere they would have organised the conference earlier.

PML-Q, which is the second largest party in alliance, also expressed reservations about attending the APC.

Although PML-Q’s leadership will be participating in the conference, the party’s Secretary General in Khyber-Pakhtunkwa (K-P) Intikhab Khan stated that the moot is not expected to bring any real change.

“ANP claims to have spent Rs46 billion on law and order in the province. But despite this the situation has only deteriorated in the K-P,” he said.

Meanwhile, ANP Senator Haji Adeel said that some 28 leading political and religious parties have confirmed their participation in the moot.
