The report compiled by the forensic experts further stated that no intoxicant was found in his body.
Faisal was found hanging from a ceiling fan in a government hostel on January 18, three days after the Supreme Court ordered Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf’s arrest over a long-running scandal into the Rental Power Plants. Faisal was a part of the investigation.
The forensic report was sent to the Islamabad Police, while the investigators are still examining the finger prints found from the crime scene.
The initial findings of an autopsy said Faisal committed suicide, but his family and some of his colleagues believe he was murdered. Forensic experts exhumed the body to determine the nature of his death.

The FIA should do first thing to put suspect names in ECL immediately
There should be no chance to escape like Shahruk Jatoi.....
Also its a joke how they tried to prove sharukh jatoi less than 18.these ppl on whom justice depends should be hanged if they try to tamper with evidence
@Adnan Khan, Yes it is an open-n-shut case, but of suicide and not homicide. It would have been wrapped up in any town in US in a week, because Chief Justice of US won't involve himself in any matter unless it is put upto him. Here the CJ has to run the country, fixing prices of CNG and sugar, firing PMs, ridiculing civil servants and everyone else who has the bad luck in his court. Please read the news from all other sources. It has been reported by forensic people that Faisal WAS NOT subjected to any torture NOR was he poisoned.
Not surprising. After all, the guy was a black belt. He wouldn't have given-up on himself, his wife, his kids... without putting-up a decent resistance. . It's such a straight-forward, open-n-shut homicide. It could've been wrapped-up in any town in the US in a week. Here, it'll take a Herculean effort for justice to prevail, which it never will, since it never does. CJ can't be everywhere, doing everything, for everybody. . Somebody else will have to step-up. Is there any other honest, hard-working man of integrity left in PK ?.
There will be no justice as usual.
It is so sad to see that your source has distorted the news about Faisal. The fact is that the forensic report says that NO marks of torture were found on deceased, neither was he poisoned. And the conspiracy theorists have jumped on the wrong news, airing ridiculous views. Shame on all of them.
Is this news authentic? Bec ARY news is reporting exact opposite. They say there were no signs of torture?
We all know that he was murdered...but, how many Kamran Faisal died till now this way?....and how many arrests we made?....the answer is NONE ...and this answer is not going to change
Such a sad story to learn about the real faces behind this poor man's death. Nothing can be much devastating than to give Pakistan in such scoundrels' hands. Now is the time that SC should take action against culprits involved in this case and bring them to justice asap.
We want justice for Kamran Faisal.
very sad. who is responsible for this? my brother want to earn clean... will he be safe in pakistan?
Steps in the right direction. Law should take its course.Well done to Pakistan!
Now the main case (Rental Power Projects Corruption) should re-open and the Supreme Court's order of 15th January 2013 should be implemented by arresting the 16 nominated persons.
Hello - all those saying nation is asleep, it is because the nation is very much awake and on the streets that Malala was flown to the UK as a VIP for treatment, Shahrukh Jatoi was arrested from Dubai and now Kamran Faisal's body was exhumed and re-investigated ending in this result! Which sleeping nation are you living in?
Nation fast asleep! Please do not wake them up.
Brilliant observation and comments BUT, Unless there is not a nation-wide physical protest by the masses to avenge the death of Kamran Faisal and bring the guilty to justice, we cannot expect much. Here's my take on this. Organize the public outrage over this; name the time and place and COUNT ME IN.
Once again, well done for printing a photo of the forensic expert! You are putting the lives of the doctors and forensic experts working on this case in danger by disclosing their identities. Highly irresponsible!
@hu: which nation? are we a nation? you joking!
@hu
If nation was not awake then how do u explain shahzaib murder outrage, solidarity with hazara and kamran faisal? Instead of pontificating how abt get off and do something constructive for the country?
Poor fellow died because of torture and the culprits are freely roaming. But it doesn't matter in the land of pure, where justice is for rich and influential. Poor have to leave it to God to get solace and comfort.
was it not obvious from day one that some thing was amiss?
'Violence' is a general term, they have to be more specific and state the basis of their conclusion
The RPP Corruption case is unnecessarily lingering on.
When will this nation wake up!!!
Truth Prevailed. May Allah bless the departed soul.
Now is the need to expose the mysterious hands behind this murder.
Murder has been committed and the police does not want to find the murderer. Whilst Raja Rental, the accused in the probe, is laughing on the steps of 10 Downing Street. Nothing could be more farcical than the Justice system in the Land of the Pure.
It seemed obvious from day one Now arrest the culprits and main culprit Let justice be done
