Vehicle thefts: SHO suspended for poor performance

KARACHI: The station house officer (SHO) of Sharae Faisal police station, Inspector Rahim Khan was suspended by police officials on Tuesday over increased incidents of vehicle thefts within his jurisdiction.

The move came after unidentified culprits snatched a black Vigo belonging to an intelligence agency from Jauhar Morr, making it the fourth theft of the month that just started.

Out of these four vehicles, two belonged to intelligence agencies and two belonged to government organisations.

DSP Shakeel Awan confirmed the increase in incidents of vehicle thefts in the neighbourhood.
