No-go: Eight-year-old killed in family feud

The body was sent for a post-mortem examination.

SIALKOT: An eight-year-old was killed on Monday allegedly by a rival family for using the street in front of their house. Saddar police said that Asad’s and Sufiyan’s family had an old enmity with Waris’s family. They said the former had stopped the latter from using the street in front of their house in Thakar Spal village. On Monday, they said, when Waris’s son, Yasir, walked through the street, he was shot allegedly by Asad. The boy died on the spot. The body was sent for a post-mortem examination. Elsewhere, a man was stabbed allegedly by his brother over money. Pasrur City police said that Amir Manzoor had an argument with Tahir Manzoor when he asked Amir to return him the money had had borrowed. The argument heated up and Amir stabbed his brother and fled. The family took him to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
