India have decided to leave out experienced opener Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina from the squad for the first two Tests of the upcoming four-match series against Australia, according to Sky Sports. As a replacement of the duo Gambhir and Raina, The left-handed Murali Vijay and the uncapped Shikhar Dhawan have been selected to fill in their shoes, while Harbhajan Singh will be one of the four off-spinners in the 15-man squad. India’s batting line-up, which is highly-regarded, misfired in their series loss to England at the end of last year, but Gambhir was not the worst offender as he scored 251 runs at an average of 41.83.
