Colonel Maqsood told the media that security forces had arrested two suspects in Tehsil Maidan who revealed the location of the hidden cache of arms and ammunition.
The cache included nine mines, seven hand grenades, three kilogrammes of explosives, 46 fuse, six detonators, four explosive boxes, one AK-47, one 7mm gun and a China-made assault rifle, said the police.
The recovered weapons were found dumped in several fields and houses, the colonel said.
He appreciated the locals of the area for cooperating with security forces in curbing militancy.

You cannot be more precise and correct. This is definitely a case of foreign involvement and the politicians are unable to reveal / disclose the nature of the militants' incursion into our country's sensitive areas. Why? No backbone to deal with any national problem. No prevision and independence.
The strategic assets live on the edge and have the propensity to fall off and sleep with the enemy (India, Israel, USA, and Europe) not to forget our own political parties like PMLN, JUIF, JI and others. We are just getting what we nurtured in the past and a complete resolution of our policies for national salvation is what is required. Topping is education and self-reliance.
Mr. Rehman Malik's nonchalant approach to face terrorism gives the impression that five years have been decisively lost and the Chief Minister Sindh's claim that all is well in Karachi is nothing short of being overblown and counting stars in sunshine.
Frankly, the only hope is in the Apex Court and the armed forces, with a pinch of salt, in dealing with the present imbroglio that is haunting Pakistan. Pray it does not get intractable.
Salams 2013
Come on pakistanis, .like your Baluchistan evidence, now you have found CHINESE made rifles. Start blaming it on China and send your strategic assets there.
These "bad" terrorists were once the darlings of the Pak establishment that trained and sustained them to use against the Northern Alliance and India. They learned the technique of using army uniform from the ISI. These terrorists have at many occasions used Indian army uniforms, when they raped and killed Kashmiri civilians opposed to Pakistan, in order to implicate the Indian security forces in atrocities. The most significant massacre was the one that took place in Chittisighapura where some 40 Sikh civilians were brutally butchered. Now, it looks like these "good" terrorists who have now turned "bad" are using the same technique against their original trainers and creators. Goes to show you, one reaps what one sows.
@Goshawk: @Candid 1: Sorry to bust your traumatised bubbles but they are Pakistanis. I wonder why you are all asking India (TTP) for talks. You know very well that we will stab you in the back once again.
Blamed..... We do not accuse but do believe Indian involvement and we have evidences. Quote.. We believe the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan TTP (actually Indians) don't have fighter aircrafts yet they destroyed our P3C Orion Air Surveillance aircraft in Karachi Naval base and damaged SAAB Erie Eye 2000 Air Surveillance aircraft in Kamra which only provide benefit to our Eastern Taliban enemy who have the 4th largest fighter aircrafts fleet in the world.
@Cosmo................... No yaar, they have recovered chines pistol. Blame it on china
Sorry to bust your traumatised bubble but they are Pakistanis.
Good catch. The military needs to do it more often and should even strive to eliminate their leaders as well as source of funding.
I guess this one will also be balmed on India!!
I congratulate the Jawans of Pakistan Army on the successful recovery of the arms and ammunition from militants.
They must be planning some thing big somewhere in Pakistan.
The fact that Pak Army uniforms were acquired by these terrorist suggests that they were planning a hit on military installations and/or personnel. This level of planning and targetting is definitely way beyond local tribes' capability, and indicates foreign involvement. Pakistan must act against these foreign sponsors (read India), so that they understand that there will be definite cost for aiding and abetting terrorists in Pakistan.
