Who is he?
Move over Fawad Khan, we’re putting another actor on our hottie throne. He’s the brand spanking new face on TV who’s giving the tired faces a run for their money. He’s smart (went to IBA for his bachelor’s degree in Finance), extremely talented (watch him in Kahi Unkahi and Zindagi Gulzar Hay), humble (did not do the typical I’m-too-busy-with-shooting routine when we called him for an interview). And did we mention he’s smoking hot?
Why we’re crushing on him
If we went to high school with him, we’re pretty sure he’d be prom king. He was the captain of his debate team, played in the cricket team and didn’t let his grade point average get affected at all.
Unlike other actors who live, breathe and dream of acting, Sheheryar just stumbled on it. He was sitting on a job offer from an excellent multinational after completing his bachelors programme. But instead of just going the normal 9-5 route, he thought he’d take a year-long break and do the kind of fun stuff that he’d reminiscence about when he turns 40. Acting turned out to be one of them. When he told his family, including his elder sister who went to Harvard, there was a lot of trepidation. It was only after he’d promised that he’d act only for a year and then head off for a postgraduate degree that his family agreed. Within that year, he managed to not only work on more than a few drama serials, he’s scored a role in an upcoming Pakistani film Kambakht. We’re now hoping his parents will extend that year to forever, maybe?
Ideal woman
Although he’s single right now, he has a pretty tall order for his future significant other. The attributes come in this order: “She has to be smart, witty, a people’s person; should be sensitive, care about animals and you know, the kind who cries at the end of a movie. She doesn’t have to be typically good-looking but the kind who carries herself amazingly well.”

Shehryar is koo-koo for Fatima Bhutto. So if you’ve ever been told that you have the remotest resemblance to Fatima Bhutto, holla’ back at our hottie!

Most elitist in pakistan are like that. But then i thought that you might just be a bitter classmate. Regardless, if Mr.Siddique is like that, please don't stoop low yourself..it only makes you look bad. To sheheryar..if you by any chance do read this..which i highly doubt you will...be extremely thankful for the blessings you have. Yes, people will be negative and bitter because they don't have the luxury you do. Most of us can't take a year off to " do something that we will reminiscence about when we're 40". I'm pakistani but i live abroad. My message to you is that you have a platform..a voice. Just like you "stumbled" into acting...i hope you stumbling into philanthropy. Be that voice of the pakistani youth. Raise awareness about : Breast cancer, clean water, green energy, better roads and safer driving, better hospitals and schools. Prove these people wrong. Prove maryam wrong about your "greater than you" actions. You have a voice and connections, don't simply use them to benefit yourself.
I went to IBA too, and he happens to be a humble individual despite all that he was blessed with as far as his acting is concerned, he still has some way to go but I believe he'll get there. Also for those who think he was given an opportunity to act because of his aunt, he did a few tv commercials on his own before he got into serials

Yes well let's not be too hasty about this shall we? Cute he maybe but he needs to work on those acting skills a little more . He is a good actor in the making ,if he puts in the hard work .He was fabulous in Merey Dard ko jo Zaban Mile but he needs to move on from that style. As to dethroning Fawad let's not run before we can walk ...
Its a shame that the youth today just can not stand anyone else's success and fame...reading the comments above makes me sick at how low young people today can stoop to vent out their jealousies...usually people who themselves will never amount to anything in life have such a negative attitude towards other people's success.Seriously!
