Crime: Man looted at gunpoint

The police registered a case and searching for the fleeing man.

A man was looted by two armed robbers in Dhok Ilahi Bukhsh area of Rawalpindi on Tuesday.


Gulzar Hussain lodged a complaint with the Waris Khan police that two armed robbers intercepted him near a graveyard at Committee Chowk and snatched cash, a cellphone and cards from him.

He overpowered one of the snatchers with the help of a passerby and recovered the snatched cash but his other accomplice managed to escape along with his cell phone. Later, the nabbed man who was identified as Umer Draz was handed over to police. The police registered a case and searching for the fleeing man.
