Another province: Petition adjourned

An additional AG sought more time from the court to put forth arguments on high court’s jurisdiction to hear petitions

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of petitions against the formation of a parliamentary commission that has recommened the creation of the Bahawalpur Janoobi Punjab province. An additional attorney general sought more time from the court to put forth arguments on the high court’s jurisdiction to hear the petitions.
