Irfan was killed while assisting victims of the first bomb blast at a snooker club in Quetta early this month.

Members of Insani Haqooq Ittehad (IHI), a network of civil society organisations in the twin cities held a reference to pay tribute to rights activist Irfan Khudi Ali and other victims killed in the recent blasts in Quetta.


A member of the viciously targeted Shia sect, Irfan was killed while assisting victims of the first bomb blast at a snooker club in Quetta early this month. Members of civil society appreciated activist’s courage to raise his voice against the human rights violations.

Members demanded disbanding Lashkir-e-Jhangvi, which claimed responsibility for the attacks and disciplinary action against officials responsible for ensuring security in Quetta.

They urged political leaders to delink from groups affiliated with sectarian outfits.
