Tahir secures lead at CAS golf event

Yousuf suffers slump on second day.

KARACHI: Mohammad Tahir fired a two under-par 70 to clinch the top spot at the end of the second round of the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Open Golf Championship in Karachi yesterday.

Tahir – who ended up joint second with a card of 70 on the first day – maintained his performance that proved enough to give him the first position.

Amjad Yousuf suffered a sharp dip finishing the round with a card three over-par 75 and consequently slipping to the second spot.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the event was the hole in one scored by Muhammad Asif and Adil Jahangir on both days of the championship.
