Taxila: House burgled; two held on theft charges

Cases have been registered under the relevant laws but no arrests or recoveries have been made yet.

TAXILA:


A house was burgled and two men were booked in different incidents in Taxila on Sunday.


Gul Shahzad lodged a complaint with the police that thieves had entered his house by climbing the boundary wall and made away with Rs242,000 cash, jewellery and valuables.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Maskeen lodged a report with the same police that Malik Waheed and Sadaqat had allegedly stolen cash and jewellery from his house.

Cases have been registered under the relevant laws but no arrests or recoveries have been made yet.
