Poverty: Father of two commits suicide

MULTAN: A man was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home on Tuesday. Police said Gul Jan, 27, a resident of Langrial village in Qutabpur, had committed suicide apparently over poverty. His family told police that he had been unemployed for several months and was suffering from depression. They said on Tuesday, they found him hanging from a ceiling fan. They called the Rescue service. The rescuers pronounced him dead. He has left behind two children and a widow.
