Calling all book lovers: KLF to start from February 15

The festival, the first of its kind in Pakistan, has been host to big names in the field of literature.

KARACHI: The 4th Karachi Literature Festival is set to start from February 15 at the Beach Luxury Hotel. The event, which is held in collaboration with Oxford University Press, has been extended to three days this year and will last till February 17. The festival attendance increased from around 5,000 in 2010 to 10,000 in 2011 and to 15,000 in 2012. The festival, the first of its kind in Pakistan, has been host to big names in the field of literature, including Anatol Lieven, HM Naqvi, Shobhaa De, Mohsin Hamid, Mohammed Hanif and Vikram Seth.
