Chup Tazia: IGP goes over security details

KARACHI: The Sindh police IGP, Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari, has asked police to remain on high alert on the occasion of `Chup Tazia’ which is marked on 8th Rabiul Awwal [falling on Monday, January 21].

The IGP called for deployment of additional policemen at Imambargahs, mosques and venues of Majalis. Policemen in plain clothes will also be deployed. Leghari also called for coordinated and effective snapchecking and patrolling.
